Dr. Wendy Wendel is a residency trained and board certified optometric physician. She provides a wide range of primary eye care which includes all of the following: management and treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, cataracts and other eye diseases. She also fits specialty contact lenses and performs pediatric eye exams. A graduate of University of South Florida in Tampa Florida with a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Wendel went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry Degree at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. James Eugenides
Dr. James Eugenides was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Northwest Indiana. Upon completing his graduate studies at Indiana University, he spent two years at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute with the University of Miami School of Medicine. His focus during that time was in glaucoma and complex retina conditions. Dr. Eugenides has been practicing in Charlotte County since 1989. In 2011 he purchased the 28-year-old practice of Drs. Christopher and Helen King in Englewood and renamed it K & K Eye Center....
